Welcome to the Flower Farm

Located in the village of West Bergholt, Essex, our flower farm is a little oasis where we work with mother nature to grow beautiful blooms available from April through to November.  Set on a third of an acre close to the A12, our location enables us to grow flowers and foliage to sell in Essex, Suffolk and Hertfordshire, and our workshop in Hertford allows us to create beautiful arrangements for gifts, weddings, funerals and events.

Our Poly Tunnel – “Big Tony” (named after Ben’s Grandfather) enables us to lengthen our growing season and is the heart of our operation where we sow all our seeds and nurture our seedlings to fill our beds once the risk of frost has disappeared.

The flower shed provides a cool environment for us to store and condition our flowers and foliage once cut and wrapped to ensure they reach you in tip top condition.

We work as sustainably as possible, composting all our green garden waste, using it to mulch our beds and avoid nasty chemicals.  Working alongside and encouraging nature to our Flower Farm is important to us and we work hard to create a habitat where we co-exist.

Although we love rabbits, badgers and deer, our flowers don’t, so we have invested in a fence to keep them out, but we can often see them enjoying the apple orchards beyond our field.
